Default Minor play on a Breeder\'s Cup future.

Minor play on English Channel to win the Breeder's Cup Turf. Currently 6-1 which is a decent price. Awesome horse that knows his job. Likely to go off as the favorite or second choice. On BC day use exactas over and under.

Side note: Lear's Princess in the Distaff is still 8-1 and a steal. Also use exactas over and under her BC day.

Positives:

Pletcher/Velazquez.
Solid record at Monmouth Park.
Nice win in last(against weak opposition).

Negatives:

Coming in with same scheduling pattern of the last two years in which he ran 5th and 3rd.
Europeans have won 7 of the last 8.
Weather at Monmouth will likely be an easy transition for the Europeans.

6:1 seems like a fair price and likely better than you will get on race day, but beating the Europeans at their game is a losing proposition.

Speaking of BC Futures, we have the BC Steeplechase in 2 weeks. Should I take McDynamo for the Nth year in a row, or get a new horse since he finished 4th last time out?

It's hard to not take McDynamo, but, he has to stop winning this race eventually...doesn't he?
