Default memory problem.. help question

ok. i just bought this new dell. i think it's suppose to have 1gb of memory?

anyways i just bought this pc game, tom clancy's splinter cell. now it says i don't meet the requirements w/ memory. it says i have 958mb and i need 1000mb. aren't i suppose to have enough already? is there a way to tweak it so i can play? or do i have to upgrade? or should i complain to dell since i bought 1gb...

i really want to play this game!

Chances are you have an on-board graphics card poaching 64MB of your system's main memory... annoying a game will make such a petty check, but you probably need to buy a graphics card - on the bright side, game will probably play fairly poorly using on-board graphics chip, separate graphics card will imprice your experience considerably

yeah almost certainly you need a good video card for a game like that, and most of them won't even load if you don't have a supported video card.
