I think Artie Moreno might shell out for a 5 year contract if Frank keeps this up.

Only true homers like you and me think Thomas is MVP worthy. Certainly if the MVP award went to the player who was most valuable to his team Thomas would rank much higher. But it seems the award is meant for the best player from among a handful of good teams. By this criterion I don't think Thomas qualifies.

Obv Frank doesn't deserve the award, his production was a little over half of Jeter's even before taking into account D. However, all of us who watched the A's all year know how important he was to the team, and that's really all that matters. He will get his accolades at the end of the month, once the rest of the country has watched the a's play.
