Default A38J in sb raise?

I am trying to open up my raising pre-flop in omaha 8.
I am delt A38J with the ace sooted and the J sooted, in the small blind. It is a .50-1.00 fixed limit ring game.

Should i raise? I know it is a good hand, but i hate having to 1) check when i air ball the whole flop 2) Play it OOP. I have been playing a very tight style and am trying to loosen up and raise more. But i am not sure if i should just complete and see a flop, or raise? tia
