VPIP hand ranges
This mite be in the wrong section and im sure its been covered before but...
What range of hands would a VPIP of 30 be raising on the button? And also in the CO? |

use his att to steal to get an approx % of hands he raises from the button/CO

ofc he is way more likely to raise 22 or 87s than he is to raise K5s [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
that being said, playing around in pokerstove is the way to go, just add hands until you get to 30% [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] 22+,A2s+,K9s+,Q9s+,J8s+,T8s+,97s+,86s+,75s+,65s,54 s,A8o+,K9o+,QTo+,JTo,T9o,98o,87o this is exactly 30% and seems pretty reasonable |

Ok thanks just downloaded pokerstove but over 20k hands my VPIP is around 7% lower according to poker tracker than what pokerstove says it would be??

I play like 24/20 and I can assure you that range is wayyy to narrow for my button...VPIP is not what you should be looking at.
