I hate it. IMO you have to 4bet this so that you don't end up in retarded spots postflop like you did.

Resistance, 4 betting is probably fine but in reply to your post I would say that your reasons for 4 betting are wrong. Not all poker hands can be all in preflop. Sometimes, you can win more wih aces with a call. Certainly I'll take my chances postflop when I'm guaranteed HU in position with almost certainly the best hand.

the pf call is bad but your post flop line is even worse since you are giving easy pot odds (and implied odds i guess) with a hand that is the best VERY VERY VERY often.

The pf isnt bad, its close to standard. Even at 50NL I dont 4bet a lot. A tight player at these stakes will have brains enough to put you on a VERY small range and act (correctly) accordingly.

Flop is very bad though, raise it up and get it in somehow.

ediiiit: you cant raise the flop, lol, BET MORE! and bet the turn

hra: I agree that my c-bet was too small. I was trying to induce a raise (representing AK) but I probably should just have made a pot sized bet. When the turn is a K, I'm not happy to get it all in there (which I have to if he CRAI). I'm behind an awful lot of his preflop range at that point.

As for the othe poster's point about giving pot odds - what (good) drawing hands is he really likey to have? Remember, I have the Ah. He might have a gutshot draw, but I'm not giving the required odds for that.

I disagree with this logic - define sometimes?

Preflop, we have the nuts, postflop we probably don't. Add in set paranoia (as seen in the OP) and we've got a shrunken pot where we had the nuts on an earlier street but decided to get tricky.

That's my reasoning anyway.
