on a related note I haven't been so mood-altered after apprising myself of the latest developments over at neverwin (including the posting of some intriguing photos of the mysterious envelope "lady" cozying up to alleged grifter) since I inhaled my morning cocktails of morphine, xanax, vicodin and cymbalta .. and flexerol.

Choice line .. "Seriously, is Micon the only person in the world who can lose 12k to a scammer and then get conned into providing free advertising for his buddy's transvestite escort service?" ..

dat, it is the impression that such a picture is intended to leave. "this is a picture of me wearing my friend's championship bracelet" serves no purpose when you are trying to sell YOURSELF as a winning player with a lot to offer. Nor is he "selling the lifestyle". If he also had pictures of himself with a girl on each arm, a pile of cash, and partying with champagne in some Vegas nightclub, I could see the inclusion of this picture as part of that montage. But that isn't what he is doing. The other pictures in the ad all contribute to the "Micon is a winner" image. I think it is safe to say that this picture was included for the same reason. The whole ad is so bad it seems like a parody of something, a practical joke maybe. In fact, it might be. If not for others seeming to take it so seriously, I'd assume that it was a joke.
