Re: 25NL AJs blind battle
say villain does this with JJ (even though most villains won't even 4b JJ), JJ-AA have us crushed, AK and AQ also crush us, say we hit our A, JJ-KK is not paying us off, say we hit our J, we are more than likely still beat...I think those factors make this a good fold, despite the good immediate odds we may be getting.

Re: 25NL AJs blind battle
why do you want to display a weak tight image?
id rather have the table worried about me that knowing what my hand is cause my lines are super weak/tight being seen as weak tight doesnt really help you get paid off on your good hands. just sitting back and trying to snap off bluffs just isnt profitable enough for me cause we dont have great/good hands that often |

Although in this particular case, it isn't really relevant anyway, as the vast majority of NL25 players aren't paying attention. |

Re: 25NL AJs blind battle
so if noboday cares how you play then why do you care about your image?
im not folding here, not because I dont want to appear weak tight but because of the great odds i am getting and I can play post flop so im not goig to stack off if an ace flops I think its kinda a gross mistatement that knowbody notices how you play @ 25NL esp post legislation. |

Re: 25NL AJs blind battle
uh, folding to a 4bet one time doesn't make you weak tight. there are other, smarter spots to get aggressive. fine, say you call, what do you do on an A or J high flop?

Re: 25NL AJs blind battle
folding is "correct" as I see it.
but calling is only marginally bad because you are in position. I probably call most of the time for that reason |

Re: 25NL AJs blind battle
jesus you are getting 4 to 1 and have positing how can you possibly fold. if you are afraid of stacking off on an A or J high flop then a) dont 3 bet AJs and b) go play limit. call and stack him when flop comes Xd xd A

Re: 25NL AJs blind battle
call
although his hand looks extremely strong (2 minraises), we are getting good odds. |
