please explain: mavs -3.5 at sac tonight

is martin playing? does this line make any sense? shouldnt mavs be like -7?

The Kings just beat the Jazz.

The Mavs just played the lowly 76ers and only won by 5.

The Kings have been playing better at home as of late.

Mavs are not the Spurs.

Points (1) and (2) are mistakes by the odds makers.

Points (3) and (4) are not.

Whether the mistakes > the non mistakes, I think, is the real question here. I'm tempted to say "yes," should be -4 or -4.5 instead. But not -7.

Motivation is surely on the side of Sacramento.

The Kings really dropped off against Phoenix when K-Mart went down, but the value is still likely with the Kings. I'm going to see if I can get a better number with Sacramento, and/or see if K-Mart is playing. There will be more games tomorrow.

gl with that guys. i bet a billion on mavs.

for me it's mavs, suns, and spurs that are clearly the 3 best teams in the league. no one else comes very close to them. so anytime i get a reasonable price on one of those teams im going with it.

wish i was home in time go get in on this game... Im in sacramento, and the kings are not looking good right now. to beat the jazz they got a nice run in the end of the game to make what had been a consistent 12 point lead disapear in about three minutes. martin has been our best offensive option... it's not gonna be pretty with him out.
