if the turn bricks and he checks what now?

if the turn finishes the straight and he bets?

obviously these questions all depend on how he plays. but you don't have enough equity versus BB here to make raising a good play, even ignoring SB. smooth call, control the pot, look for a blank turn when your equity increases, etc.

thats what i thought too but even if he has a set or a straight a small % of the time this can be a losing play. there are also a lot of draws he can have that are a fav over aces which pushes his hand range equity even more against you. if you raised more, like to 1k then i would be more tempted to call. i think this is a fold even vs cleaner.
