Default HU 25/50 Big drawish hand

Villain is loose-aggressive, who isnt afraid of shooting multiple barrels. This is like our 3rd hand HU since the table broke. Before the table broke we played SH and we had a few battles. I suspect that he tried to steal some pots from me but I re-raised him every time and won w/o showdown.

His limp preflop is pretty weird, I have played with him alot before and I don't think I've ever seen him do that.

I am basically looking for advice on the turn..

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $25/$50
2 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
SB: $6177.50
Hero: $7613

Pre-flop: (2 players) Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
SB calls, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $200</font>, SB calls.

Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($400, 2 players)
SB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $300</font>, <font color="#cc0000">SB raises to $900</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($2200, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets $1200</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero...</font>

This is so villain dependent.

he's giving you great odds with that 1/2 pot bet. that 5 isn't much of a scare card so i doubt he's folding an 8 if you shove.

looks like a good spot to call and re-evaluate river.

I always love that line. Or do you mean hoping to hit one of our cards or hope he checks on river when we miss

Also, in general, what does a check-raise and weakish bet on the turn means from him? Then calling or jamming is easier to answer.

Uh i dont think the villain has an 8 here. I do agree with the call/re-ev river though.
