Why does VC for Wii have different games available to diff. regions?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual...8Wii%29#Titles et al says that Japan will get the most titles, NA the second most and AUS and EU the least. I don't get why they just don't make the VC for Wii world-wide? I guess games like Go-muku for the NES may not apply to the US market, but why are games like Zelda:LTTP, SF II and SMW only released in Japan at release?
Nintendo have already announced that Wii will cost €249 in the EU, while it will cost $249? in the US. That's just great. I guess they will [censored] us over real good when it comes to the VC, too. Yes, I dont understand region coding either. |

Re: Why does VC for Wii have different games available to diff. regions?
they are gonna release the games on a schedule based on making money, not when fans want them
they will release a few major games to start in each region (ie mario 64 here) and then the other major games (other marios, zeldas, fzero, mario kart, metroid, etc etc) will be released months apart to keep interest up and keep buying frequent |
