Obv read dependant. I think a lot of players don't do this as light as we often convnice ourselves they do but if I limped with the intenton of limpraising here I think I'd have to call.

the icm calculator i used only has 5 payouts, so with 6 handed it'll have the person busting 6th getting $0, to compensate i gave everyone 6th place money by taking it out of the top 6, is this fine? will that still work? it sounded right and im kinda busy and didnt ahve time to think about if that'll work, dont have other alternatives so i'll just try it this way.

To start the hand we're worth: $5,714
If we complete-fold to shove: $5,458
If we double up we're worth: $10,154
Bust: $0

x%*$10154 - (1-x%)*$0 > $5458
x% > $5458/$10154
x% > 53%

i really doubt you have >50% equity with these stacks and this action.

As soon as I read this I just thought fold because we're a 60/40 against a ton of his range and we're not a coinflip nearly enough of the time to justify calling.

KQ < A7, etc. other hands villain doesn't want to play postflop.

Your stack isn't big enough to limpreraise. Open push or raise/call.

I raise/call here almost always. If I happened to limp/raise here, I think I probably call the shove but it's close.

I like your plan of limp-re-raising, the most effective way to play hands like A10-AQ, KQ KJ here with the stacks. That being said villain took that weapon away from you with huge overbet shove. Given the new rebuy structure and your skill level I think you are calling off way too many chips here to limp-call all-in and there are really only 2 hands he "might" do this with that you want to see, KJ or K10s. I really think including those hands maybe stretching it a bit but he definitely doesnt have a huge hand and you are likely 50/50 40/60 vs his range. That being said I'd rather suck it up and fold and shove an UTG raiser with 8 high having fold equity to win the pot with no showdown.

Pushing>Calling
