Dont like sorry.. KQs is too weak of a hand to go allin with pre-flop (with 20bb), and there is really no reason to perform a play like this in this stage/situation of the tourney.

If MP2 is opening pretty wide, I think this is ok, but lately I have distanced myself from these kind of plays b/c I rarely get folds out of the players. I'd rather be shoving here with like AQs/AK/99+. I also don't like how we're not desperate for chips at all, which makes this too risky I think.

Risk/reward doesn't seem to pay off here. I agree w/ vers's squeezing range, although I fold 99.

Don't like it. Just fold and go on with next hand.

They have to be opening wide here and then fold a lot to your push for it to be good. I generally don't think they are, and fold here.

Im not a big fan, there need to be alot of factors for this to work well, including fold equity from a 3.5x raiser (hopefully he is a LAG, but a lag is probably more likely to call you) and someone coldcalling 3.5x (likely a bad player, who might also be mo re likely to call you)

You would know your opposition better than I would, but I think you need to give info on the players stats or showdowns , making this play with the info you've posted (none) isnt something I would advocate

I hate this, and someone would have to show me some serious math to show that this could ever be profitable. Note that you did not provide us with the ninja read that we require. FI, AK may be in MP3s call range, crushing us, and not folding to a shove. AQs could possibly be good here with some fold equity + possible dead money. Hope someone less lazy does the math to figure out the necessary ranges, both opening, calling, and shove calling/overcalling.

Also, typically I've noticed that 3.5 raises with these stack sizes are pairs like JJ, QQ that don't want an ace to call but are happy to get it in preflop. You're often getting called by both.
