So i normally read some other forums and decided (BORDEM OCCURED) to take a look at the politics forum as i have never done. For whatever reason this is the first thread i opened... is this the kind of crap i should expect while i continue reading this forum?

Seems like this thread is just all about one person's obsession with how they are perceived by others and their consequent whinefest. Have we gotten ourselvs so involved here at "2+2 Policitcs" that we have to resort to this petty immature crap?

Borodog,
Even though i havent read the previous thread mentioned here where you were... disrespected, and therefore wont/cant comment on the nature of what happened and certainly dont want to take away from any wrongdoing you may have suffered... I can still say that much much worse has been said between two people here on 2+2 and if you care this much... you probably need a break from 2+2.

No, it usually doesnt degenerate to this. Its usually just a lot of fallacious logic, reliance on ideology that is based on faulty assumptions and intellectual dishonesty in the cloak of academia.

Wow, I'm convinced by your amazing argument. I hereby officially renounce all versions of libertarianism!

IMO: 1. Borodog is a very knowledgeable and fun poster, as long as he doesn't get upset. 2. Borodog has a fuse shorter than Paris Hilton's attention span. 3. Borodog is correct in this case about DcifrThis misunderstanding what was written. 4. I find the AC ideology quite faulty. 5. DcifrThis possesses astonishing humility for a mod.

Fun threads.

This thread was a train wreck from the OP.

Not that I'm surprised Borodog sycophants such as yourself are ooohhh-so teary eyed about all the "mean haters" Boro has to suffer. I mean, it's not as if Boro has even been a giant douchebag on this forum. In a rational world, consistent turd attack throwers like Boro demanding apologies for 'personal attacks' would be laughed out of the room, but yeah, from his teenage fan club, I completely expect "ohh sniff, sniff, the haters, sniff, so mean and trolling our exalted leader, sniff". So rest assured your "why is everyone so mean and trolling sweet innocent Boro, sniff" response was completely expected and predictable.

Boro, why do you care about his apology? Why not just ignore him and pay attention to everyone else instead?

you seem reasonable enough to consider some new views so care to share somewhere why you feel this is so?

So I just noticed that you and ike aren't the same person. WTF@having the same avatar, but whatever. Dunno what your need is to resort to personal attack, but whatever.
