Default Acrylic racks?

I ordered an acrylic chip rack from 5 Star Deal to examine the quality.

For $1.50 it sure looks crystal clear and brand new.

The problem is it holds 105 chips, not 100. I tried this with my custom clays (brag) and also with a stack of chips from various card rooms. Any way I mix the chips, I can stack 21 in each row of the rack.

Has anyone bought racks from another source? Have you had the same problem?

chip spacers...

Otherwise, if you call the guys at the place you order them from, they can probably tell you which chip racks work best with which brands of chips.

Good idea. I checked and they have racks, but the online commerce seems down right now.

Looks like the standard 66.7mm wide rack will work for me, but the ones at 5 star deal are 70mm.

I have racks from there, from a few years ago, and they fit 20 of good clays or cheap tourney chips.

Maybe they've changed?

Possible. If you're curious, you can always measure. In the rack I received, there is 70mm of open space. A standard rack that fits 20 should be 66.7mm.

They are called Paulson racks or racks for Paulson chips. I think they sell for twice as much as the cheap acrylic racks. Around $2.95 or so.
