some bad players miss really easy value bets but have no problem making retarded bluffs

Give that man a cigar. Folding just didn't seem an option in this context. Just the meta of giving him a life line was enough. It was clear I was going to have all his money.

Wanted to post 1) was I putting myself into a bad spot (b/f or b/c) and 2) is this one of them induce a bluff raise situations I've been reading about?

Thanks for the comments.

Not sure about that location, Josh.

I would have serious trouble bet/folding this river.

Betting is the more important part here. Bet fold is probably better than bet call if the read is accurate, but either is preferable check/call.

I think betting the river is best, although I think it's close. The board is somewhat dry so I think you'll get called by A high here a decent amount of the time. If your opponent has any history of waiting until the river to raise big hands, however, I would rather check/call. This way not only do you not get raised, but you get to induce desperation bluffs from hands like 77.

EDIT: After reading the rest of the thread, I'm also in the bet/call camp as opposed to the bet/fold camp. Bet/folding seems the worst option of the 3.

Just my opinion...
