**Official Tiger Woods 2007 Wii thread**
Figured I'd start this up with the launch a week away. I have to say, besides Twilight Princess, this is the other game that I bought the system for. I've played a lot of the Wii Sports golf now, and have high hopes for this game. Hopefully they've figured out the putting aspect, as noted in the previous review posted.
Anyone else pumped up for this? I'll be buying it on the launch day, somewhere.

Yup, I went out and pre-ordered it yesterday. I actually got Super Swing Golf when it came out back in December, but I was disappointed in just the overall weirdness of it. PANGYA!?
Anyway, yeah, I'm psyched for this game too.

I have been really excited about this game as well. IGN's most recent "Hands-On" has somewhat dampened my enthusiasm, as the control doesn't sound like what I thought it would be. I'll still likely get it as soon as I can and play the hell out of it.

i'm really stuck in my ways about golf. for my money, hot shots is as good as it gets. mario golf is similar but i don't like its distractions.
perhaps ea will get it right the first time, but i wouldn't be surprised if mario golf has better physics whenever it gets made.

That's what I like about Wii Sports, that at this point I can modify my swing length to hit the ball certain distances.

I am counting down the days for this title, I've never been this excited about a release since GTA:SA.
After reading the review I'm a little upset about the swing, but I like the idea of tilting your wrist for either draw or fade. This will be good for when you need to purposely apply either draw/fade.
