Default Who actually uses the Wii strap?

Seriously, this thing is retarded. Do people actually use it?

I have a strap on my Wiimote.
It's for my TV's safety.

I use it every time. In games where sweeping motions are required, it's to protect my TV, controller, dog, and everything else in the room. For other games, the strap is more annoying when it's dangling than it is when it's on my wrist.

Ditto. Though my Wii is broken ATM.

The only time I don't use it is when I'm just navigating menus, like for playing a GC game.

I never put the straps on or took them off straight away if they are on when you first get them. My friend a couple times has thrown a remote but that's because both times he nailed a chair near the end of his toss in bowling.

I usually wear it for bowling and tennis but never bothered for Zelda. I wouldn't remove it from the remote because friends come over and play. They seem to be far more retarded and have both dropped the remote and smashed it into things.

OP, do you have a decent TV?

depends on the game:

zelda - no
sports - yes
paper mario - no
rayman - yes

i like my tv. a lot. i can deal with having a strap around my wrist in order to protect it.

and as someone else said, there's no way i let my friends not have the strap on when they play
