25NL - AA turns set. Did I leave money on the table?
This isn't a tough spot or anything, and may be "standard". I'm still fairly new to taking poker seriously, so I'm just curious if I left money on the table. When I reviewed the hand afterwards, I second guessed myself and thought I should have just called his turn bet because althrough the board has draws on it, it wasn't too scary. Then value bet the river.
No reads on villian. Only have 20 hands on the guy all at this table. My thinking behind checking the turn was to make him think I was c-betting on the flop. Not sure if that was a mistake or not...any thoughts on if I could have extracted more or was this pretty standard? bet the turn, cring is just gonna let a big part of his range off easy.
and if you're going to cr, make it 20 or something closer to pot. |

I'd bet $6 on turn- that way if he raises, you can push AI.
As played- I think I smooth call his turn bet and vbet river. I'm not scared of draws, but cr screams too much strength and folds out more marginal hands. |
