what a bunch of pussies in this thread. if you're going to be a thief, why just take the cash? run up a huge balance with the credit cards as well. i swear, if any of you [censored] got run over by a bus, the world wouldn't miss you.

i can't believe someone brought religion into the morality equation. religion != morals. i would return the money/wallet, and the bigger the sum, the more reason you have to return it. you don't want tony soprano knocking on your door.

Wallet with info= instant return. Wallet w/o info= turn in if its at store or something.

I have had dreams about finding a brown paper bag full of cash since I was like 11, so if that happens, I'm keeping it.

It never ceases to amaze me how people can rationalize all sorts of douchebag behavior when it benefits them.

I mean why not just start opening unlocked cars and taking any cash you find? You could even try this with houses in your neighborhood.

Plus, if you're at the airport, just look in the wallet for a DL and then have the guy paged on the white courtesy phone. I'd never give it to the loser security staff at the airport, they're likely to pocket it.

I'll bet you're the kinda guy that would [censored] a person in the ass and not even have the goddamn common courtesy to give him a reach-around.

Reverse the situation. You were the idiot and your wallet fell our of your pocket while you were in the crapper with $342 in it along with a couple of cc's and your ID and some other neat stuff like a picture of your gf and your health insurance card.

It's found quick enough that they can page you and you can get it back before you board. Of course you do not know this.

What do you think if villian decides to:

1. Keep it.
2. Give it back but take $100 or so.
3. Give it all back.

This just happened to a buddy of mine in vegas. Somehow he managed to lose his wallet during the course of playing BJ.
Contents: 1.5k, CC's, DL, SS card etc...

This was the first day of the trip, he went to security etc... long story short, it wasn't returned, and really ruined his trip. Had to have money wired to him and head to the airport extra early to fly home since he had no id.

Don't be a f'ng scumbag, return the goddamn wallet. And if you're going to be a scumbag, at least have the single grain of courtesy and turn the wallet in after you steal the contents instead of tossing it in the nearest garbage can. He would have been thrilled just to get his id & CCs back etc.
