[img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I sat silent and watched Zen take a beating in another thread. I liked it. It provides some good thoughts and perspectives. Of course, I wouldn't follow the strategy advice, but it's not supposed to be a strategy book anyway. How much does it help with tilt? As much as you allow it to. Ultimately, it's all up to the player but Zen can easily help get your mind headed in the right direction toward tilt prevention.

I have owned the Zen for a long time, but haven't opened the book yet. I tell you what. I'm gonna go sit on the throne right now and get the book with me. I'll come back after that and give you my expert instant review of its usefulness for this purpose. Let's see how many pages it will have afterwards...

Punk-- I know you're looking in the Books forum for a reason, but I gotta say that of all the players I know who have (mostly) conquered tilt, almost none of them did it with something they read in a book. Usually it's epiphany, or experience, or pride. That said, you can't be blamed for looking for reading material. Supposedly, he said it helps and if your significant other could not be there, find a reliable substitute.
