I have never seen the point to making a bed every day, unless you are having special company and they are going to actually see your bedroom. Also, if you are in boot camp, then you have to. I only make mine (reluctantly) if I am visiting at my mom's, because she always has things perfectly nice.

But other than that, why go to all that trouble just to mess it up in a few hours?

What does making your bed entail? I think by a stricter definition I never do unless chick / any company expected.

I kind of do everyday (meaning I kind of tuck the flat sheet in, throw the duvet in place, sometimes put pillows in order).

Mine's semi-made every day. The comforter is in place and it looks presentable. This is because clean makes me happy.

btw this thread is good because Beetz started it and Beetz is good.
