I really don't like PF, but you knew that about many of the posters here.

I think you have to C/C the flop, especially given the action, and your turn C/R is awesome (assuming you know he'll bet.) Capping is good as well.

That said, the river is player dependent. It really, really sucks, but the pot is enourmous at this point, and I would shoot myself if I folded a winner in this big pot, so I think it might be possible to fold, but I don't have it in me.

52 is awful; let's tell it like it is here. if you had 78o i wouldn't mind the call.

Fold the 52o.

Calling is insane against a station and a maniac in only a 3 way pot.

[ QUOTE ]
I for one don't call even if this hand is suited.

Not sure I am following the logic that 52 is a better hand than 83 either.

[/ QUOTE ]

52 is a better piece of garbage than 83. It's just a statistical fact.

Although that may be in a 10 handed game over time when nobody folds. In a 3-way situation where any pair could be gold, maybe hitting the 8 is far more valuable.

(but to get real you should throw both of those hands away, they are garbage, even if the guy is a maniac he does have position on you which is worth something (more than 52 and 83 in my opinion...).

blind defense doesn't have a meaning against these kinds of players at these stakes. However, there is value raising and calling till the end with 25%-30% of your hands. There's also some meta value in making these guys think that you are a tight rock. They bluff more and you win with top pair and middle pair a lot more.

I recall a few months ago in a live 3/6 game that some guy said that 25 was his favorite hand. ?????
