Not sure if I have said this yet, but I hate how you can defer in college/high school football. You win the toss, you get the ball.

because Wisconsin didn't shut down Arkansas

They gave up 14 points. Did you misread the scoreboard?

It was a fluke, obviously. The fact that Wisconsin's defense dominated the entire year and finished 3rd in points allowed in college football doesn't matter since they didn't play anyone. Their defense isn't any good.

Thanks for setting me straight! I'm just an SEC hater for pointing out that Wisconsin held Arkansas to less points than every SEC team, and gave up half as many points to them as any SEC bowl team.

I'm also a hater for thinking that Wisc. would be Tenn on a neutral field or that Fla is going to get destroyed in a week.

I expected to lose, but that was a sad way for it to happen.

Whatever though, TB looks great and it's nice to know that we'd be 11-3 right now if Chan had pulled Reggie a month ago. Also, as of Thanksgiving break Calvin was still leaning towards staying, so if that holds on we'll be in good shape next year.

God, those 7 minutes sucked though.

Exactly! The Penn State and Wisconsin wins prove objectively that the SEC is the best conference in football and LSU is #1, and it's not even close in either case!

"JaMarcus Russell showed something with that drive verse Tennessee. "

This is the sort of psychological gobbletygook that makes sports betting profitable. Troy Smith wouldn't have needed to show anything to win vs. UT.
