Queens facing Big preflop overbet push
Villain is sidis_______ on NL100 party. Have him at 17/14/4.6 over 375 hands. Generally aggressive, can't remember him doing this before.
Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) Hero (SB): $134.00 BB: $31.48 UTG: $164.93 CO: $109.99 BTN: $134.90 Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players) UTG folds, CO raises to $3.00, BTN folds, Hero raises to $10.00, BB folds, CO raises all-in to $109.99, Pot Size: $120.99 Looks like he's trying to push me off the hand but I also thought he thought I might think this etc.... Is this one where you've just got to suck it up and call? Then curse when AA or KK appears |

Re: Queens facing Big preflop overbet push
easy fold here. you have queens, he has KK, AA or AK and you are generally drawing two outs. if he is a solid player (17/14/4.6 seem solid) this makes it a double fist pumping instafold because he is very rarely doing this w/ a worse hands and let you off cheap.
p.s. i fold here becuase i don't like to find myself in this kind of situation w/ no reads and it's 100bbs you'll get 'em from him sooner or later. |

People have been doing all kinds of weird [censored] to me in CO/button/blind confrontations lately. So:

Re: Queens facing Big preflop overbet push
Some months there ago there where some articles/posts on 2+2 about 4betpushing preflop with Ax against habitual light-3betters. Since then i've seen a lot of semi good regs applying this move.
So if you have some 3bethistory with this guy call. |

Sidis is either a complete donk or somebody on 2+2(both maybe? ). I definitely remember hearing his name recently.

Looks like he's trying to push me off the hand but I also thought he thought I might think this etc.... [/ QUOTE ] I think it's pretty safe to assume that you are never getting leveled at this limit. |

Re: Queens facing Big preflop overbet push
I would not be happy about getting AIPF w/ QQ w/o a very good and specific read on villain. If he's not a maniac, then you really are just praying that you are up against AK, and you are just a slight favorite over that hand.

Re: Queens facing Big preflop overbet push
Depends a lot on game flow and how he percieves you, but if its the first time he does this and he doesn't think you'd 3bet light then I don't fault you for folding. Any history of aggression = call.
