I was talking to a chick on AIM that I used to "hang out" with. We didn't really date, just hung out. Made out a bit, but nothing serious. Anyway that doesn't really matter.

This part of the convo made me angry. Have any of you ever had to deal with this? If so, how did you?

You handled this pretty badly. [censored] outlined the dating part well but you didn't defend gambling for a living well, the general public opinion on what it's like to gamble for a living is completely wrong.

50k gambling is not the same as 50k in a paying job. Gambling has risk attached to it while the job does not (other than getting fired). You need to earn a lot more gambling to have it be comparable to a normal job.
