Default New Laptop Question, Is This A Good Deal?

Hey guys, Im looking to get a new laptop but I really know nothing about how to pick one out or how good something is for the price. I can get the following through my school, or could go elsewhere, I guess Best Buy or something. Basically I play poker and do internet and school projects (excel, word, powerpoint.) I also occasionally watch DVDs when I am on the go, but not often. My current notbook cant handle more than 3 tables with pokertracker etc going so I def. need an upgrade. How does the one in the middle look? Or other suggestions, especially with thanksgiving sales going on? One thing I really like and would like to have is the finger touchpoint mouse thing (the one in the middle of the keyboard, not the touchpad)

Thanks a lot for any help.

Tomorrow (Black Friday) you can get the exact same setup in a Dell for about $1,200. Even without a Black Friday deal, Dell will beat that price by a few hundred $$. While I'm sure that is a nice laptop, it looks like you are overpaying for those specs IMO.

If you are looking to play poker resolution is more important than about anything. None of these laptops have very good resolution. Go to dell and customize.
