Every prediction I've heard for every series the Cards have played has been, "OMG, THE CARDINALS ARE THE SUCK! GET OUT YOUR BROOMS PADRES/METS/TIGERS!" I'm also getting tired of the ridiculous statements. You know, something like: "ST. LOUIS CARDINALS: WORST TEAM EVAR???"

All of the Cardinal hating is making this run that much sweeter. I am immensely happy right now.

Totally understandable. But you do understand that the Cards couldn't have been considered a favorite, right? I'm a big Card fan too, but I've always prided myself on my objectivity. The Tigers had to be the favorites. I do think the sweep talk was premature, but I can certainly understand people favoring the Tigers. I think it's going to be a great series and surpass everyone's expectations.

Well, I certainly didn't consider the Cardinals the favorite coming in to this series or the last. I thought we would beat the Padres in 3 or 4. I thought we would lose the NLCS in 6. Before last night, I thought we would lose the WS in 5 or 6. Now I don't know what to think. Now I'm just in "believing" mode.

What I'm referring to more specifically is comments like, "The Cardinals are the worst team to ever make it to the World Series" which I think is ridiculous. Another ridiculous statement would be, "The Cardinals are going to get swept by the Padres in the NLDS."

I'm sure if we pull it out then we'll be the worst team to ever win the World Series.
