But when a mid stack min raises I get lost, common sense says fold but if I hit a K,Q , draw or better should I just push? Im just really lost here... Even pps I end up playing bad against them. Also I usually shove 1010 against a guy with like a 35bb stack, is this -ev? |

I'd fold pre-flop. KQ is an easily dominated hand and a min-raise like this is often A's or K's.

Yes, min bet's stink, but they also give great odds to call and see a flop. You've got suited/connected broadways and villain is giving you a little better than 3to1 odds to see a flop. So I think your call is OK.
On the flop I would rather hit two pair, a decent draw or better, than top pair unless I knew my opponent well. With KQ you have to start worrying about being dominated by AK/AQ/AA/KK in a 3 bet pot when you hit top pair on the flop. I think your fold on the flop is good. |
