Default Floyd Landis - Innocent?

It seems the Lab made an "administrative error" on the B sample and that the positive finding was not his. Hmmm?

That isn't actually what the article says.

[ QUOTE ]
In its report, the lab wrote that the "B" sample tested was number 994,474, while the actual number was 995,474, Le Monde said.

"The error, of an administrative nature, does not mean the positive B sample was not that of the American," Le Monde said. "But it is being used today by his lawyers ... to contest his positive doping results."

Oops, I was quoting the lawyer for Landis:
"In a letter sent to the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency in September, Jacobs said the positive finding on the "B" sample came from a sample number not assigned to Landis."

There have been a couple interesting developments in the Landis case. It appears there is a good chance he isn't going to be found guilty of doping.

Some pretty serious allegations against the lab doing the testing.

I've always thought he was innocent, despite getting yelled at on this forum for it. And innocent or not, I'll never forget that ride, which was my favourite few hours of sport in my life.
