GEEZUS! Sick, I am betting on all the favorites this week. Only underdog I like is MIN +6 over GB.

Seattle just lost a heartbreaker to a good team. They need this win to stay above 500. SF has shown nothing, they were dogs to ATL and lost. Thats as bad as they get.

Hahaha I was about to post an answer to your question and it was a simple response: San Francisco.

I hadn't looked at the numbers yet, but I wouldn't be rushing to take Seattle if they were -14 or something. That's why I was curious. But -10 is pretty good. MOV has Seattle at -16, last week's DVOA with Seattle -14.

thoughts on the under -39.5?

Seattle is averaging 38.5 total points a game (PF + PA)
SF is averaging 36.25 total points a game.

Seattle has reached 40 points 4/8 times this year, their opponents being Cardinals, Bengals, Saints and Rams.

SF has reached 40 points 3/8 times this year, their opponents being Steelers, Giants, and Saints.

Seattle defeated the 49ers earlier in the year 23-3.

The 49ers are going to have massive trouble moving the ball. They suck enough as it is, and Seattle's dome-crowd is deafening. Seattle has a decent D, and SF should have trouble coming up with 14 points.

Are MNF games usually higher scoring, hence the higher line? Wagerline shows 60% on over 39.0, which makes me like this bet more.

Thoughts on either side?

I don't know whether they are actually higher scoring or not, but the public typically bets more on Monday night games, and the public prefers to bet overs than unders.
