99 gets capped preflop, flops goot

BB is a complete donk. He is 79/17/1.7 w/120 hands. He has made exceptionally bad plays such as: LRR A3s, bet/call missed flop, donk/call turn UI, donk/call rvr when he paired his 3. He has made stop&go plays with 2nd pair turning a gutshot. His donk is basically meaningless.

UTG is new. I have 46/20/1.5 w/160 mined hands, and so I have not witnessed any hands--i.e. mined stats

My basic thought process was wa/wb until board looked scarier...dunno.

I may raise the flop here and try to give UTG a reason to fold his overcards on the turn (especially if BB donks again), but calling down isn't too bad, either.

With a little bit of a read, the river might be a fold instead of an overcall, but UTG may be looking up BB with as little as A-high and so overcalling should be okay.

i'm with aaron; i wouldn't expect to be good very often on this river, and i'd tend to raise the flop a fair bit of the time, but your line is okay.

yea if he missed and misses again on the turn, and also if i get 3bet then i know i'm beat and can get away from it then or on the turn, saving money. there's also the potential if i raise flop and bet turn that i can take a free showdown.

I would call down with the overlay of BB but I fold to any agression from him and don't expect to win very often.

You should probably have cut the action on the turn, because if we call the turn we will call the river and its hard not to get biased by the river action.
