he posted a link in full ring that was a site that had many 2p2er blogs linked. i deleted the link and locked it after noticing it he posted it another forum also.

he pm'd me and asked me why, and i said you can't link to blogs on the site. he then said "well there's a sticky with blogs on it in the full ring forum."

i then said it's different because the site hosts it. i'm not sure if my response or reasoning was correct, i just thought blogs couldn't be linked, and i had a suspicion the site had adsense or was something else for him to make money. i then told him to pm mat sklansky if he wanted it explained further or better.

The hard and fast rule about linking to blogs only applies to your own blog. If you're confident that he's not trying to pimp his own blog, you can let it go. However, if you want you may ditch the thread on the grounds that it's:

1. Uninteresting
2. Off Topic
3. Reveals personal information about other users. Not all blogs are meant for 2+2 consumption.

he did the same to MTT. I deleted it and told him we can have links that take people off 2p2 domain.
