APerfect10,

Can you give us any insight as to how you will be able to construct a Buddylist and then get it into applications like Spade Eye etc? How much flexibility will there be with criteria etc. Have you guys looked at Spade Eye etc and made sure that the Buddylist you can create with PT3 is ULTRA easy and quick to load into add ons like SE, at the moment it's a pretty crude process given all the information that is at our disposal.

When you use the "import from DB" option on SE and you have a multi million hand DB the fish are in Alaska by the time you are in the water

I think he means export a list of filtered players, then any app could easily import it.

Sound like a good idea and easy to do?

The reporting system is extremely flexible and powerful. With custom reports, you'll be able to get anything in the database and with expression capabilities, you can do just about anything. Creating a report to show the fishiest players shouldn't be too much of a challenge.

Nice to see this idea is getting some love The way I see it there are two alternatives for custom fish lists and both should be included- I do believe that there should be a default fish list for less serious but still knowledgable users(much like there is default autorate rules), but lets face it, none of the hard core users use those rules and will likewise want their own lists

If we can sort through icons(meaning you can select as many as you want to be included) then people familiar with autorating can make their own rules and generate a list that way.

EG I make a list of all Maniacs, X- Loose and Calling Stations.

But I think the system used in defining an autorate rule at present (VPIP < = &gt etc is the best for customizing a list but using far more criteria (a list more like the list of headings in the "export" player summary in PT2).

Maybe a hand log for observed hands would be nice for deleting purposes, something simple with the number of hands for each day or a date range, and a delete option that works the same way- ok, that's it, promise I won't suggest any more datamining tools- it's just that it's a pretty undeveloped aspect.

This thread is huge, so this might have all been said, but:

-Please speed it up - PLEASE
-Add 3-bet % feature like Realtime HUD
-Make it easier to run a DB off an external hard drive

The ability to auto-detect all your usernames from the hand histories themselves (ie: no need to manually enter "aliases").

Re an earlier post
Please do not even think about having the HUD as a seperate app.
