Default 16s: I should push this right?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Button (t335)
Hero (t1150)
BB (t4040)
UTG (t920)
MP (t5700)
CO (t1355)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to t335</font>, Hero ?

This is basically a pot odds call if I can get the BB out.

Don't like it. If BB is calling as tight as 12% it's still -EV.

I think villian calls like 8% here.

Even at 12%, im surprised its -EV, since its +EV if I push and the Button had folded.

Well, that's a whole different situation. If button folds, you push and BB folds, you win 100%! Compare that to the ~50%ish you're going to win vs BTN and it's easy to see why one is ~EV-neutral and one is very +EV.

Sorry. I was unclear. I think BB calls tighter if I push over the Button, than he does if only I push from the SB because me coming over the top looks stronger (like 66+, AT+) than me pushbotting from the SB.

For instance, he may call my obv bluff push with 44 or A6 whereas he may fold that verses my reraise over button if he puts me on a decent range.

The difference in winning 100% compared to that ~50% is larger than the difference you gain by him folding maybe 10% more of his range.

You have to understand: When going allin preflop there is usually no big favourite preflop. It's usually 50/50 60/40 or 70/30. Not getting called on the other hand ensures a 100% win. Your main goal should always be not to get called, and not to get it allin vs someone with a slight edge (allthough that can also be good ^^).

I woldn't push. I don't know what ranges you are operating wiht for button, but with him on ATC it might actually be a push even though your image will be crap aftewards. But why would button play 100%?
