Default Stars 150, preflop push decision

44 left, bubble broke at 45. Table is fairly tight and aggressive. Overall the play is pretty tough for an online tournament. Blinds are up in like 5 mins.

Limp/raise still applies, so raise.

i think i muck it. i also probably fold AJo and maybe AJs. definitely push AQo+.

this may be tight, but people are too willing to gambooool right after the bubble breaks.

I am definitely not pushing, but depending on how respected UTG raises were, I'd raise to 3k or fold...

**edit: yes i know you have 10bb. but a 2.5x bb raise does just as much and IMO 7.5 BB at this point in the tournament is enough to work with if you get repopped, while having a chance to accumulate blinds would also be huge here.**

A push is worth about 3/4 of a BB, if you assume that their calling range is 88+, AJ+.

There is no range they can have that makes this -CEV, but the more PPs they call with the lower the +CEV of the play
Rnage is somewhere between 1/4BB and 1BB, depending on how tight they are.

I think that makes this a push, you can't really afford to fold your edges in this spot, especially if the field is tough

Apologies, I didn't realise you're at 10bb. I'd find a fold after the bubble breaks.

Why is that a bad thing? The only 'gamble' hands that we dont like to see are mid-small PPs, and at this point, I'll take the flip with almost 20% of my stack in dead money
