Default Re: OFFICIAL MOVING UP / HOW AM I DOING SO FAR THREAD

I am in the process of moving up from the 3.40 rake traps to the 6.50s.

I am a variance wuss so i mix the buy ins, three 6.50s and two 3.40s. This is a good idea if you are not totally sure if you are ready to move up. Just drop the number of tables you play, focus on the higher buy in tables and play on auto at the lower buy in.

Also the jump in skill between the 3.40s to the 6.50s is nothing major. If you are beating the 3.40s you will be able to beat the 6.50s.

I don't get in as many sngs as most of you guys do but I've got a roll a lil over 1k now. I think I'll start taking some shots at the 16s next month. I also want to start 6 tabling soon. I wish I had more time to play.

With a roll of $380, where should I start on Full Tilt? I'm getting pretty sick of trying to grind out the $50 max lifestyle with rakeback, and I think I'd like to concentrate on SNGs entirely. Suggestions?

I mainly play 18 man sngs now on Stars but I had some success in $16 and $27 STTs and I'm considering playing the $60s on Stars, mainly for fpp bonuses so I can hit supernova.

I played about 1k sngs at both of the before mention levels with like 12.5% and 6% ROIs. If I can beat both of those levels(I feel like my $27 ROI shoulda been around 9-10% but I ran really bad for about 500 of those SNGs), should I be able to fair well in the $60s? Ive gotten mixed reactions about the $60s so I'm unsure what to think.

Cool, I love this thread. I'm grinding out the $3 on PP with $20 ROI 2-tabling. Only about 200 games - I can't get in the volume you guys can with a job & girlfr

Reading about the poor rake and the weakness of the players up to $11 means I'm going to move to this $11 level by merging my br from my other accounts on to PP. Its just plain frustrating playing $3, at this rate I'll make like $1k in a year. Merging my br will give me a roll of $560, is this too low for the PP $11s? I just hope I don't have a bad run at the start, I've been on an 8 buy-in losing streak before....
Also what is the rake on the PP $11s?

If you ran bad for half your sample then you don't actually know your true win rate. I'd stick at the $27s for another 1000 games then re-evalute.

all depends if you think you`ll continue to maintain a good roi to match the profits from the 16s, ill be nice just say the first one
