Default $6 PP AK ITM facing r from big stack w short stack

Big stack had maintained his stack for awhile and had been playing pretty tight.

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Tournament
Blinds: t300/t600
3 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
Button: t10510
Hero: t7250
BB: t2240

Pre-flop: (3 players) Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
<font color="#cc0000">Button raises to t2400</font>, Hero folds

I shove over this, he could be doing this with a very wide range of hands at these blinds. You're already ITM, getting 3rd here does suck but you have a huge hand and are likely way ahead.

Thanks for the replies. My thought was to let the small stack bust out (which happened a hand or to later- but I don't want to be results oriented).

I will bow to the advice and plug this leak!

But if you win the hand without a showdown you get some extra chips for heads up or you double up and have a great chance at being a big favorite headsup. I was doing this crap on the bubble too often, boy has my roi went up once I stopped doing this otb.
