Next time you ask a question about a pre-flop decision, delete all the action after your decision point.
I push...plenty of money in the pot (relative to your stack) so you don't mind winning the pot now. The last thing you want is a medium sized 4 way pot (like what you ended up with)...you want more money and/or less people in there. |

Don't post the results.
I think you have to push pre-flop here. Going to the flop three-handed with queens is risky enough but you're also giving BB great odds to call and close the action with anything reasonable. Given your stack, the pot is worth taking down now. Ideally, of course, a push gets one caller and you're heads up with the thrid best hand in NLHE and an overlay. |

Actually, if we really believe all that stuff about chip accumulation in MTTs and squeezing every ounce of +EV we can out of situations, then ideally he'll get like 2 or 3 callers and they'll all have worse hands then him. Less chance of winning than the heads up situation you described, but much more +EV. Obviously doesn't change the conclusion about the right play at all.

Easy push with your stack. You're in a great position to potentially double up if the original raiser calls, and your call will enable other players to overcall after you, especially in low-to-medium entry fee tourneys (which is precisely what happened; hands like 3h5h had a cheap shot to knock you out). Additionally, the call of the UTG raise puts more dead money in the pot. I'd just move all-in and see what happens.

Puush pf but not for the reasons that you imagine.
with the ability to add 40%+ to your stack preflop, you should be pushing a HUGE range of hands pf here |

What range would you push with here? While you've got a chance to increase your stack 40% (assuming people fold), you've also got 2 players showing some strength, and players left to act. I can't really see anything beyond 99+, AQ+ being good to push here. Am I way off?

I agree with Zoobird. I don't think it's an automatic over-the-top reraise with a wide range. Your M is low but you don't want to push 78 here. You can still wait for a better hand than that against two people who say they have something of value. If you push with 67s and get called by the A8o, you're in bad shape. I would want an ATs minimum to do a move like that (in these tourneys, enough players would call with a lower ace to make that a profitable play).

zoobird,
I actually did not realize that MP1 was so short which tightens me up a little bit. Then I realize that he is retarded for calling and not pushing pf with whatever his hand is and I know that he will not understand that he will be getting 2.5:1 to call my push. I squeeze more than most but the reason that I do so is because people fold to the squeeze much more than you could imagine. In this scenario (where everyone is so short) I would probably push: 55+,KQ+,A9+. If both mp1 had 2000 chips I would push: 22+,J9s+,Q9s+,K9s+,A8s+,JTo+,QTo+,A9o+. |
