Default Jersey Government Horrible (as usual)

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/04/04/ny...mp;oref=slogin

Since our federal, state, and local governments have no funds available to provide for retirement, I wonder if they will cut benefits or raise taxes. Who will win the tug of war, young or old?

Cliffs notes: Teacher's pension fund is underfunded. They're not sure how much because of shady accounting.

They are going to do both, so no one will win the tug of war.

You're only hope going forward is to make so much money that is doens't matter how bad the govt screws the middle class. If you remain middle class or worse, you are going to be totally hosed on 20 years. GET RICH. It's your only hope.
