HG is a DUMP compared to Bike or Commerce, feels like a warehouse decorated with cheap "asian" paper displays bought at Party City.

HG is also where you can find probably the juiciest games in gambool LA, particularly in the 8-10 100 NL, 6-8 8/16 LHE w/kill, and 2-3 6/12 O8 tables.

Since it appears you have never played in LA before just pick one (besides Crystal Park) and you will have a better poker experience than you have ever had in the past.

wow... that's a pretty good endorsement! I'm a Philly guy, and so I play most of my poker in AC. I've also been to Foxwoods, East Chicago, and Vegas.

So far, I've enjoyed Vegas the most. There's something cool about walking into the Bellagio and playing cards 20 feet away from the guys whose books I've read and moves I've studied on TV.

I began playing poker a little over three years ago. Like many here, I suspect, I started a practice of collecting a $1 chip from all the casinos that I've visited to play poker. I'm looking forward to adding one from LA to my collection.

The places in LA aren't as fancy as in Vegas, but the games are better in my experience. I think that is what the previous poster meant about a great "poker experience".

HG may be a little dumpy, but the games are juicy and the food is decent.

Commerce has the most comfortable chairs (everywhere else the chairs have no cushioning and are old and crappy). Commerce also has the most tourists and complete fish. It's easier to have a big win (or a big loss) at commerce than HG or the bike. Food is ok.

Bike has the worst action and the worst food. It is nicer looking than the others, but the chairs suck.

I prefer HG on weekdays and Commerce on the weekends. Good luck!
