Currently. Like there is no contract that I would pay more for if I was managing a club. This takes into account the future value of the contract.

Maybe, maybe not. Best player in the world is pretty subjective...and how you judge it varies...current form, or past performance, etc.

yeah the next 8 years of fabregas is probably pretty comparable to the next four years of ronaldo, and might be worth more.

I think people are seriously underestimating Cesc. Maybe I am doing the same to Ronaldo. I'll call that a draw. Any other players out there that fall into this group? I know RJ is going to say Messi, but I don't agree with that.

It's a down year for him and he's a couple years older, but Kaka' is among the best in the world.

oops, didn't realize he is 24. But still. I don't think he is in the same group as these two. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, a year ago today would be a better comparison as he was better and only 23, but I guess he's getting up in age now.

Merida is 16 I believe. Actually, I think Arsenal only have like 2 guys over 30 on their team.

if his buyout clause is 200 million pounds and inter milan will pay for it, i dont know how you wouldnt put him up there with the most valuable contracts.
