i'll delve deeper here. i meant it was a coin flip in my mind on the hands we beat when bet into the river on that card after c/c' entire way.

I'd puke and call and expect to see 10-8 more often then q-j (a feasible hand as well if he puts hero on tptk on flop), but it's close enough where it's not auto fold. I don't raise this situation often, esp not closing the action, as I want the bb to overcall if possible.

sometimes in these same spots i end up seeing someone vbetting a-2 hearts afraid the lag will check it thru (wierd i know).

my first instinct was that he has a hand like KQh or QJ, 8 10 i really never put that in his range. The hand I was concerned about was K 10h. Ive talked with a couple of respected players and I guess I just overlooked 8 10, the villain that donks out was a higher limit player complaining that 30 60 was just boring and too low for him, also he couldn't wait to tell me that he cashed for 300k in the WSOP main event. I raised which is obviously not the recommended play. My thinking was that if he is a higher limit player and he did make a straight he would definitely go for a check raise, and the hands i have him donking out were QJ, KQh, or maybe Q 10 anything bigger I thought I would be check raised. The donk bet to me didn't seem like strength. He called and showed me 8 10 and i donated an extra 60. Is a raise here usually out of the question?
