Default Good Karaoke Bar in Vegas?

So, my wife and I are meeting my sister-in-law and her husband in Vegas this weekend - they lost a March Madness bet to us this year and as a result have to karaoke for us.

Does anyone have a good suggestion for some Karaoke? We will likely do this Friday night - and closer to the Strip the better.

Thanks in advance.

Lost a bet, Ya, that's what everyone says.

Imperial Palace has a Karaoke club. It's up the escalators on the third floor. I haven't been there since they moved from the bar out in front of the place but I have heard it's good.

"Good Karaoke"

Isn't that an oxymoron?

Only if you don't enjoy the idea of singing in front of, and along with your, friends.

The usual problem with karaoke is the other people at the bar that you have to compete with for time and listen to in the mean time.

That problem is solved with "karaoke box" which offers private rooms for karaoke. It's been popular in East Asia a long time, is available in some places in LA, and I'm sure will be coming in a way overpriced format to Las Vegas sometime soon.

Then it's definitely an oxymoron (at least for me and my friends).

The bet is pretty darn funny, though.
