Hmph, never taken valium, so i guess i can't say from experience... but Valium is a tranquilizer/anti anxiety (like xanax) and adderall is a stimulant for add - not really interchangeable effects. (edit: being stuubborn because i'm pretty confident and you getting the opposite result that you want could potentialy be expensive...)

not exactly sure what effects you're looking for jeff or how you plan to take them, but as exit said, valium and adderall are basically opposite drugs, to put it simply, adderall will keep you awake and wired in while valium will keep you very mellow and sedate.
