BUT, it seems like it could work.

Eh give up on the turn, he is folding a pretty small range of hands that peeled the flop, probably specifically 22-33 and some floats with A high or air, which you don't have a read that he does, so you can assume he usually always has a pair+draw or something at least which folds to a turn bet basically never.

If you bet the turn though, you pretty much have to follow up on any scare card.
