Default The negative stigma against slowrolling- I don\'t get it.

Why is it OK to try to tilt people through other means, (retarded chat, screen names that make light of things like the holocaust, 9/11 and so on etc) but it is not OK to slowroll people? Isn't this just the greatest way to tilt someone?

As long as the intent is to anger someone, why does it matter in what fashion it is accomplished?

(I don't slowroll, try to tilt people through chat, or have an offensive screen name)

I don't get it either.

I've never been annoyed by a slowroll, yet I've seen fights break out in live casinos over it.

Why does it really bother anyone other than wasting time? If that's the true cause of why slowrolling is bad, I'd be permatilted by the slow-moving mouth breathers I play every day.

slowrolling tilts people because once he times down you expect to win when called if youre value betting, and to a lesser extent gives you hope that your bluffs will work, isnt it obvious?

I feel like attempting to tilt someone is a poor way to win money. I'm not going to say that person's money is any worse than someone else's, but I certainly have less respect for people who actively try to tilt someone through chatting and slow play.

However, screennames don't bother me as much. Hell, I played on Empire as IEffedJonBenet. I never said I was consistent.
