Default Suited Connectors

I was wondering if we could come up with a long list of games, situations, table positions, etc where playing suited connectors and/or drawing type hand is +ev.

ex-in positon as opposed to out of position.

If you think someone got aces you can play suited connectors, they are the smallest dog to aces so just push them chips in.

Against any decent opponent small and mid suited connectors will be an equity dog, as they won't play with anything other than big cards or pairs. In other words, you will (almost) always be behind.

So they are only +EV if you have IO.

Or if you have enough FE, but ATC can be +EV is you have enough FE.

I think since there was just a pocket pair discussion, we should have a sc discussion. there is a link in the ss sticky, but in full ring things are done differently enough for us to have our own discussion.

The problem is not in the forum, it's in your question.

You've asked an incredibly broad, general question that's impossible to answer without writing a book (or at least a chapter in a book). Nobody is going to do that for you. Maybe if you started it...

fold ep if unopened

re-raise raisers

raise in all other positions

fold to 3-bets

check in the blinds multi-way
raise headsup depending on the villain

Obviously it's a very general question, but remember one thing: lots of very good players are actually -EV on all SC hands they play, but typically only marginally so. The hope is that they gain more with their good hands because their range PF is wider. In other words, if you play more hands and are neutral on those hands alone, then you should gain overall.
