Driving a sports car with automatic is a huge waste of the car's potential. Sure it will go fast and look pretty, but if you really want to enjoy it the most you need to drive manual.

It's sort of like going to a really nice restaurant and ordering filet mignon extra well done. Yeah it's gonna taste good, but not as good as if you got it medium rare.

EDIT - you can learn driving around 1 day tops how to drive stick via trial and error. Snag a junk <$1k car, or rent a bad one and you won't have the worry about damaging the clutch
